In this video interview Dr. Xiongbin Lu describes the new drug he and his team have discovered to treat triple negative breast cancer. Click here to see the video.
Dr. Yuanzhang Fang's paper:
“MAL2 drives immune evasion in breast cancer by suppressing
tumor antigen presentation” was selected as Cover for JCI.
It has also received a commentary and was highlighted in JCI This Month.
Dr. Kevin Van der Jeught's paper:
“ST2 as checkpoint target for colorectal cancer
immunotherapy” was published in JCI Insight. This is the first cancer immunotherapy paper from the Lu laboratory.
This work identifies ST2-positive tumor
associated macrophages as a therapeutic target for immune checkpoint blockade therapy for treating colorectal cancer. It is a
collaboration between Dr. Lu and Dr. Sophie Paczesny.
Dr. Xiongbin Lu was recently awarded a new $2.28 million R01 grant from the National Cancer
